Mission: Joy – An Exclusive Inclusee Event!
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the launch of an exciting new event for our Inclusee Participants and Volunteers!
This event is an exclusive screening of the wonderful film; Mission: Joy – Finding Happiness in Troubled Times.
Deeply moving and laugh-out-loud funny, this documentary tells the story of the unlikely friendship of two international icons who transcend religion: His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. In their final joint mission, these self-described mischievous brothers give a master class in how to live with joy in the face of challenge. They offer neuroscience-backed wisdom to help each of us live with more joy, despite circumstances.
Consisting of never-before-seen footage, the film invites us to join these luminaries behind the scenes as they recount stories from their lives, each having lived through periods of incredible difficulty and strife.
With genuine affection, mutual respect, and a healthy dose of teasing, these unlikely friends impart lessons gleaned from lived experience, ancient traditions, and cutting-edge science regarding how to live with joy in the face of life’s challenges, from the extraordinary to the mundane. Mission: JOY is an antidote for our times.

If you are an Inclusee participant with an Inclusee device:
- Open the Inclusee Connect App
- Select the Mission: Joy Special Event button
- Select the event session you would like to attend. Please note, if you watch it on the Thursday and would love to attend again on the Friday, you are more than welcome.
- Follow the prompts to join in.
- Get comfy, grab a friend and some popcorn!
If you are an Inclusee participant with BYOD device, or Inclusee Volunteer:
- Open the Inclusee Connect Web App by clicking here.
- Select the Mission: Joy Special Event button
- Select the event session you would like to attend. Please note, if you watch it on the Thursday and would love to attend again on the Friday, you are more than welcome.
