Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of who we are. We understand that true connection happens when everyone feels seen, heard and valued.

In 2025, we’re placing a spotlight on LGBTIQA+ inclusion and menopause awareness. These important themes reflect our broader commitment to creating safe, welcoming and supportive spaces for everyone in our community.

Our journey is ongoing. We continue to listen, learn and evolve—together.

Our Focus
First Nations (2023)

We honour the cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our programs support respectful partnerships, cultural learning and community-led responses.

Neurodiversity (2024)

We embrace different ways of thinking, learning and engaging with the world. Our team includes and supports neurodivergent people, and we’re working to make every part of our community more inclusive.

LGBTIQA+ (2025)

We stand for equality and visibility. In 2025, we are focused on creating safer, more informed spaces for LGBTIQA+ people.

Future Focus Areas (2026 & 2027)

Coming soon: future pillars will include areas such as disability inclusion, cultural diversity and accessibility.

Inclusive language and messaging across all communications: Ensuring that all our communications reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion by using language that is respectful, inclusive, and free from bias.
DEI training for staff and volunteers: Providing comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training to all staff and volunteers to foster a deeper understanding and commitment to these principles.
Programs shaped by lived experience: Designing and implementing programs that are informed by the lived experiences of diverse community members to ensure they are relevant and impactful.
Recognition of key diversity events and awareness days: Actively recognising and celebrating key diversity events and awareness days to promote understanding and appreciation of different cultures and identities.
Accessible platforms and support services: Ensuring that all our platforms and support services are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities, to promote inclusivity.
Ongoing learning and evaluation: Committing to continuous learning and regular evaluation of our diversity and inclusion efforts to identify areas for improvement and ensure we are meeting our goals.
Diverse employee representation: Striving for diverse representation within our employed team to ensure that different perspectives are included in decision-making processes.
Employee resource groups: Supporting the formation of employee resource groups that provide a space for individuals with shared identities or experiences to connect and support one another.
Partnerships with diverse organisations: Building partnerships with organisations that represent diverse communities to enhance our outreach and impact.
Inclusive recruitment practices: Implementing recruitment practices that actively seek to attract and hire individuals from diverse backgrounds.
